How do I charge the mophie juice pack?

To charge the battery while it’s attached with your phone:

1. Attach battery to your phone.
2. Plug your charger into the phone’s USB port.
   
   All status lights briefly turn solid, followed by solid light at each charge level and a blinking light at the current charge level. If the battery is fully charged, all lights are solid. After 30 seconds all lights turn off and the attached battery continues charging.
   
   The TurboPower charger that came with your phone charges the phone and attached battery simultaneously. Other chargers fully charge the phone, then charge the attached battery.
   
   The battery plus icon will display in the status bar when your phone is being charged

You can also charge your phone and the attached battery by plugging your charger into the USB-C port on the attached battery. The phone’s battery fully charges first, then the attached battery charges.

To charge the battery while it’s detached from the phone, plug your charger into the battery’s USB port.

Tip: When attaching the mophie juice pack to a completely dead phone it will take approximately 3 minutes before you are able to use the phone.

Check battery levels

You can check the attached battery’s level by looking in your phone’s quick settings or by using the battery status button.

To check battery level, do one of the following on your phone:

Swipe the status bar down and look at the  notification, which is always available near the bottom of your notification list. Touch the notification to view general battery settings.

Open quick settings by swiping down with two fingers. You’ll see two battery icons, attached battery (left) and phone (right). In this example, the attached battery is at 85%; the phone battery is at 50% and is being charged by the attached battery. Touch either battery icon to open your phone’s battery settings and see what’s been draining the battery.

If your phone and attached battery are charging and the phone is locked, you’ll see two battery icons, attached battery (left) and phone (right).

Or, press the battery status button and look at the status lights:

    
If the battery is charging, a solid light turns on for each completed charge level and a light blinks for the current charge level.

To see if the attached battery is charging your phone, look at the battery icon in the status bar at the top of your home screen:

     Attached battery is charging phone.

     Connected charger is charging phone and attached battery.

     Attached battery is not charging phone’s battery, which is fully charged.

Battery Mode

The Battery Mode setting allows you to control when your mod is used.

Go to Settings > Conected devices > Moto Mods > Battery Mode

• Turbo - faster charging - Maximize charging speed to your phone for a quick battery boost
• Efficiency - more battery - Maximize usage time by keeping your phone battery at 80%
