How do I get started using this device?

When you purchase the TX550 it has to be charged. The indicator light is red, purple while the battery is charging. When the battery is fully charged, the indicator light turns blue.

Note: Speaker phone is not functional while charging.

Note: Your battery is designed to last the life of your product. It should only be removed by a recycling facility. Any attempt to remove or replace your battery will damage your device.

The TX500 remembers up to 6 phones it has been paired with.  Pairing a 7th device will clear the first device.
Only 2 can devices can be used at one time.

Tip: The TX550 announces when you have a low battery and allows you to manually check the battery status when powered on:

You can initiate a battery check when powered on by pressing both volume buttons while not on a call.

If the light shows...  You'll hear...
 Red  "battery is low"
 Purple  "battery is medium"
 Blue  "battery is high"

When the power switch is in the ‘On’ position Sonic Rider will remain on even when the phone has gone out of range of the device.

When the phone moves away from the car your car kit will attempt to reconnect to previously connected device for 5 mins.
If the user returns within range after the device has stopped attempting to connect, reconnection is engaged by a double press of the ‘call button’. There is no need to switch the power switch on and off to reconnect the phone
