Sprint continues to make progress towards its strategic Network Vision plan to consolidate multiple network technologies into one seamless network with the goal of enhancing Sprint network coverage, call quality and data speeds for customers across the United States.

To prepare for the eventual network consolidation and to improve operational efficiency, Sprint plans to reduce and optimize select Nextel cellular towers throughout the country.
