Take photo with cutout background on the moto z3

Use cutout mode to remove your subject from the background completely.

To enter cutout mode, open the camera and select   > Cutout

In order to get the perfect cutout image, the key is distance.

You may see the following messages from your device when using cutout mode. These are designed to help you get the perfect shot.

When you get it just right, snap that photo and the device does the rest for you!

Once you've removed the background, why not add it a different one?

Open up the photo and select  > Add background.

Choose from images in your camera roll or our sample images to create a new, interesting composite shot!
