My wired accessory is not working.


The Moto Z Force utlizes the latest USBC connectivity. You must use an adapter in the USBC port to use a standard 3.5mm headset jack.

The adaptor supports products such as Square Reader

If you are experiencing problems while using the adaptor, follow the troubleshooting steps below.

  • Rotate the USBC end and plug it in again
  • Power cycle the phone
  • Make sure the adaptor is inserted completely, and the connection is tightly fitting and secure.
  • Remove any case or cover to ensure adaptor is inserted completely.
  • Wiggle the connecter to see if that makes a difference (it may tighten the connection)
