Things to know about the 64GB DROID Turbo 2 design refresh program:

The Design Refresh program was a joint promotion between Verizon and Motorola that allowed customers who purchased a Droid Turbo 2 64GB to order a onetime “design refresh” (new device) for phones purchased by June 30th 2016. As part of the program, all design refresh phones had to be redeemed within 2 years of the original purchase date.
As of July 1, 2018, the program has expired, and the option to redeem a design refresh phone is no longer available


Which devices are eligible?

Offer valid only on the purchase of a 64GB DROID Turbo 2 by Motorola purchased from Motorola or Verizon via Motorola’s online customization portal (Moto Maker) on or before June 30, 2016 and must be redeemed within 2 years from the original date of purchase.

How many time can I redeem the offer? Who can redeem?

This offer can only be redeemed once by the original purchaser (based on serial number of the phone), and cannot be combined with any other offers; void where prohibited.

How do I redeem the offer?

To redeem the offer, visit www.motorola.com/us/design-refresh-redemption and enter your phone's IMEI number, telephone number and/or email address associated with the original purchase to verify your eligibility. If you are eligible, give us a call at 800-734-5870 and one of our customer service representatives will help you. We will authorize your credit card for the amount of the new device. We will only charge your card if you don't return your original phone within 10 days of receiving your new device.

What condition does my original phone need to be in?

In order for your original phone to be eligible for the design refresh, it must be in good working condition and not have any physical damage such as a crushed or damaged housing, liquid damage, software or hardware alterations or any other damage not covered by the Motorola limited warranty.

What do I need to do to return my original phone?

Remove the SIM card from your original phone and place it into your new device. Put the original phone in the included envelope and place it in the packing box. Use the prepaid FedEx label with the packing box to send the phone back to Motorola for processing. You do not need to include the charger, manual or any other accessories from the original phone with your return.

How do I transfer content from my original phone to my new phone?

Visit www.motorola.com/transfer for an overview of available options.

What happens to the limited warranty on the new phone?

The warranty on the design refresh phone will be the greater of 1) the old phone’s remaining warranty, or 2) 90 days.

What happens to the extended warranty on the new phone?

If the extended warranty was purchased through Motorola.com, it will be transferred to the design refresh phone. If the warranty was purchased through Verizon or a 3rd party, please refer to the provider’s terms for additional details.

Am I getting a new phone?

Yes!  You will receive an upgraded new phone, our Moto Z Force Droid. You can choose a black or a white model.

What if my old phone was replaced as part of an exchange or repair? Am I still eligible for this offer?

Yes. Eligibility will be transferred to your replacement phone if the exchange or repair was handled by Motorola.
