Please provide the following
Google Play Store is an entertainment hub full of music, movies, books, apps, and games that you can access instantly access from all your Android devices.
Your phone includes some pre-installed apps and you can download and install more.
To see the range of options, touch Apps > Play Store.
Open an application
To open an app, from the home screen, touch Apps and touch an application from the list.
Switch between recent applications
If you’re surfing the Web and want to quickly bring up your music player to switch songs, touch Overview (Recent) . In Overview, you can see all of your recently used apps. Touch the app icon to open the recently used app.
Download applications
- Touch Apps
> Play Store.
- Browse the Store for the app(s) you are interested in.
- Select the app you wish to download and follow the instructions.
After you download an app, the icon for that app appears in your App Tray.
Although we do not recommend it, you can allow your device to install apps that are not from Google Play. Touch Apps > Settings > Security and enable Unknown sources.
Remove applications
- Touch Apps
> Play Store > Menu
.
- Touch My apps > select the application you want to remove.
- Touch Uninstall, then confirm by touching OK.
Quick app info
You can quickly get details for an app, temporarily stop it from running, clear its data or cache, restore defaults (an easy way to reset an app), or uninstall an app - all without going through menus. The key is to use the app tray.
- Touch and hold the Apps icon
then drag it to:
- App info - To find out more about the app's data usage, to clear its data cache, force stop, or disable the app at the top of the screen.
- Uninstall - To completely remove the app. Pre-installed apps can be disabled but cannot be removed.
Check for application updates
- Touch Apps
> Play Store > Menu
.
- Touch My apps.
- Any applications that can be updated will be listed at the top.
- Update all applications available. You may need to update each application separately, or often, you may have the option Update All.
