Using wireless charging on the motorola edge +

The motorola edge + supports 15 watt wireless charging. The wireless touchpoint is highlighted in the image below:

 

 

When you properly place the phone on a wireless charger, it may take a few seconds for the phone to notify you.

With the phone unlocked, the notification will include edge lighting and an on-screen message "Wireless charging is on".

With the phone locked, the notification will include edge lighting and an on-screen message "Charging wirelessly".

Notes:

• It will take approximately 2.5 - 3 hours to charge your phone with most 15w wireless chargers.
• Charging may not work properly if you have a thick case on your phone. If needed, remove it before charging.

Wireless power sharing

Power sharing lets your phone charge another wireless charging compatible device. 

To charge another device with your phone:

1. Go to Settings > Battery > Power sharing, and turn it on.
2. Place your phone face down on a flat surface
   
3. Place a wireless charging compatible device in the area outlined by the edge lights
   
4. For best results when charging another device, position the device as shown below.
