How do I pair the Moto 360 to my phone or tablet?

To connect your Moto 360 2nd Generation follow the steps below:

  1. Take watch out of box and power on by firmly pressing the button on the side.

  2. On the watch, you will be prompted to select your language. Then you will see a screen prompting you to install Android Wear on your smartphone. Make sure that your smartphone is running Android 4.3 or higher (instructions at g.co/WearCheck).

  3. On your phone, turn on Bluetooth. Then download the Android Wear app from the Google Play store.

  4. Once Android Wear is downloaded and installed on your phone, open the app. You should see "Select device" - make sure that the device number matches the device number shown on the watch. Walk through the rest of the pairing process.

Note: Before pairing is complete, you may be prompted to complete a software upgrade.

Tips:

  • If you’re pairing your watch for the first time, make sure your phone is connected to mobile data or Wi-Fi. You need a data connection to complete setup.

  • For the best Android Wear experience Google recommends enabling Google Now & Location. Click here for more details.

  • You cannot pair your Moto 360 with multiple phones or tablets at the same time. You can switch which phone or tablet your watch is paired with, but you need to reset your watch to factory settings first. Then you can pair your watch to the new phone or tablet.
