How do I charge the device?

MOTOACTV can be charged via the USB charger provided with your device.

You can also plug MOTOACTV to your computer for charging.

Charging When Using Any Motorola USB Wall Charger

  • If the battery is fully depleted, attaching the charger will wake up the display showing the battery charging graphic, then the display will time out after 15 seconds
  • The unit will be in the charge only mode and in the off state
  • Quickly pressing and releasing the key will wake up the display
  • Pressing and holding the key will turn the unit on, if the battery is charged to at least 5%
  • The unit’s charging LED will always be lit

MOTOACTV Charging When Using A Motorola Dual Port Charger

  • If only one unit is connected to either port, charging operation is functional. The unit’s LED will be lit
  • If one of the ports is charging a phone that has a sufficient battery level and at the same time a MOTOACTV is connected to the 2nd port, both the phone and MOTOACTV can be charged. The unit’s LED will be lit
  • If one of the ports is charging a phone that has a depleted battery and at the same time a MOTOACTV is connected to the 2nd port—
  • The display will be blank (no Battery Charging graphic)
  • The charging LED will be off
  • Pressing the key will not turn it on
  • Charging operation will not function. However, charging operation can be restored by disconnecting both the phone & MOTOACTV from the charger, and then reconnecting only the MOTOACTV

MOTOACTV Charging When Using A Computer Via A Micro USB Cable

  • If the battery is fully depleted it may take up to 20 minutes for the unit to turn on
  • The display will be blank (no Battery Charging graphic)
  • Pressing the key will not turn on the unit
  • Once the battery is charged to a sufficient level, the unit will turn on automatically-pressing the <Power> key is not required
  • The unit’s charging LED will always be lit
