HK100 - Motorola phones not recognizing my headset

What can I do if my Motorola phone stops recognizing my headset?

If your phone stops recognizing your headset you should delete the headset model from your phone's device history and connect it to your phone again.

A. Delete the headset from phone history:

For Motorola Android phones:

Active Bluetooth devices within range cannot be deleted. If the device is paired, press and hold the device and select unpair. If you then turn off or move out of range and scan for devices the item will disappear from the list.

For most non Android Motorola phones:

  1. Press Menu.
  2. Scroll to and select Settings.
  3. Scroll to and select Connection.
  4. Scroll to and select Bluetooth Link.
  5. Scroll to and select Device History.
  6. Scroll to and select the desired accessory.
  7. Press Menu.
  8. Scroll to and select Delete.

For MOTO Q phones:

  1. Press Start.
  2. Scroll to and select Bluetooth.
  3. Scroll to and select Bluetooth Manager.
  4. Scroll to and select Settings.
  5. Press Menu.
  6. Scroll to and select Paired Devices.
  7. Scroll to the desired device.
  8. Press Menu.
  9. Scroll to and select Delete.

B. Pair the headset ( Click Here" target="_parent for pairing instructions)

If you still cannot pair your headset to your phone, you can perform a Master Reset to reset your phone's settings.  For general Master Reset instructions consult your user manual.
