There are a few things that might be causing this error:
- Make sure your SIM card is inserted correctly.
There is a notch taken out of the SIM card on one corner that will allow the SIM card to fit into the phone only one way.
- If you can see your SIM card is visibly damaged, contact your service provider.
- Make sure the SIM contacts are clean, if they are dirty, clean them with a dry, antistatic cloth.
If these suggestions do not work, please contact your cellular service provider, they may have to issue you a new SIM card.
