How do I use the smart lock features on my moto g4 plus?

Smart Lock

Smart locks allows you to keep your device unlocked when it's clear that you have your device with you - for example when it's connected to your Moto 360, when your home, or when it recognizes your face.

1. Touch Settings
2. Touch Security
3. Touch Smart Lock
4. Touch Trusted devices
5. Touch +
6. Select Bluetooth
7. Make you Bluetooth accessory discoverable.
8. Add a name for the connected device and touch OK

Trusted places

1. Touch Settings
2. Touch Security
3. Touch Smart Lock
4. Touch Trusted places
5. Touch Home to set a trusted place in Google Maps, or touch + to add another trusted place.
6. Select the desired location

Trusted Voice

1. Touch Settings
2. Touch Security
3. Touch Smart Lock
4. Touch Trusted Voice
5. Ensure all three options on the next screen are turned on. If they are not, select the toggle to the right to turn them on.

Notes:

Please bear in mind that setting up trusted voice does make your device slightly less secure as someone with a similar tone of voice could potentially unlock your device.

On Body Detection:

1. Touch Settings
2. Touch Security
3. Touch Smart Lock
4. Touch On Body Detection
5. Turn on body detection to the ON position

Notes:

Please keep in mind your device is less secure when On Body detection is on as your phone will stay unlocked whenever someone has it in their pocket or handbag.
