What can I do if my phone stops recognizing my Bluetooth headset?

Delete your Bluetooth headset from your phone's device history and pair your headset to your phone again.

A. Delete the headset from phone history:

For most Motorola phones:

  1. Press Menu.
  2. Scroll to and select Settings.
  3. Scroll to and select Connection.
  4. Scroll to and select Bluetooth Link.
  5. Scroll to and select Device History.
  6. Scroll to and select the desired accessory.
  7. Press Menu.
  8. Scroll to and select Delete.

For MOTO Q phones:

  1. Press Start.
  2. Scroll to and select Bluetooth.
  3. Scroll to and select Bluetooth Manager.
  4. Scroll to and select Settings.
  5. Press Menu.
  6. Scroll to and select Paired Devices.
  7. Scroll to the desired device.
  8. Press Menu.
  9. Scroll to and select Delete.
