How do I manage photos and videos on the moto z2 force?

Share photos or videos

You can wirelessly share one, multiple, or all items from any Photos view, sending them as email or message attachments, uploading to the cloud, or using device-to-device connections like Bluetooth.

In addition to sharing wirelessly, you can transfer photos to your computer with a USB connection. You can also move photos from internal memory to SD card.

To share wirelessly:

1. Open the Photos app.
2. Navigate to the thumbnail of the item you want to share.
3. Select the item to share:
   • To select one item, touch & hold its thumbnail.
   • To select multiple items, touch & hold the first thumbnail, then touch the others to select them.
4. Touch  and select the way you want to share.

Delete photos or videos

If you've just taken the photo or video, swipe the viewfinder to the left. Or, open the Photos app and open the photo or video to delete.

Touch  (if you don't see the icon, touch the screen first).

Tip: You can try using a third-party app to recover recently deleted photos or videos. Search for “file recovery” in Play Store

Edit photos - standard

1. Open the photo in the Camera or Photos apps.
2. Touch the photo, then touch
3. Touch Photos Editor
4. Touch a tab to access editing options.
   •     Adjust light, color, sharpness, and more.
   •     Add a filter.
   •     Crop or rotate photo.
5. To reverse your changes while editing, touch   > Undo edits
6. When finished, touch SAVE. Your edited image is saved in the same location as the original in Photos.

Edit photos - advanced

If the photo is depth enabled, marked with , you can also edit layers:

1. Open the  photo in the Camera or Photos app.
2. Touch the photo, then touch
3. Touch Depth Editor
4. Choose any of the following:
   • Selective B&W: Touch the layer to keep in color and remove color from the rest of the photo.
   • Selective focus: Touch the layer to keep in focus and blur the rest of the photo.
   • Replace background: Touch the foreground layer to keep and remove the background.
5. Touch Save.

Tip: You can create albums, collages, animations, and movies from your photos and videos. For more information, open the Photos app, touch  > Help and search for “assistant”.

Edit videos

1. Open the Photos app.
2. Touch the thumbnail to open the video.
3. Do any of the following:
   • Trim the video. Drag the sliders to outline the frames to save.
   • Change orientation for playing the video. Touch Rotate
   • Steady a shaky recording. Touch Stabilize
4. Touch SAVE
