What can I do if my moto z2 play is lost or stolen?
If your device is lost or stolen, Android Device Manager allows you to remotely locate, lock, and erase your phone.
To remotely locate your phone, location services must be on. If not, you can still lock and erase your phone but you can't get its current location.
To confirm that Android Device Manager is enabled for your phone:
- Go to Settings > Security.
- Touch Device administrators.
- If the checkbox is not marked, touch Android Device Manager > Activate this device administrator.
- Go to www.google.com/android/devicemanager and log in to your Google account to confirm that you can contact and locate your phone.
To find your lost or stolen phone, on a computer go to www.google.com/android/devicemanager.
