How can I check for a Nexus 6 software update?

Nexus devices receive the latest version of Android directly from Google.

According to the Google support article here, the Nexus 6 will no longer receive software or security updates.

To find the software version on your phone:

Go to Settings > About phone
Find your phone’s software version
