Setup email account - Moto G 2nd Generation

Follow the steps listed below to add your personal email account to your device. 

Note: We recommend a Wi-Fi connection when setting up an account.  

Add an Email Account

1. Touch Apps  > Settings > Accounts > +Add account > Email.
2. Enter the username and password for your email account. 
3. Your account should appear in your email accounts.

If the email account does not setup automatically, enter your email address and password and touch Manual setup and follow the instructions below for Email Manual Settings.

Check the table below for your email provider; the email account type, incoming and outgoing server names and port numbers are listed for each provider.  Enter your username and password and the appropriate information below into the manual email account settings. 

** IF YOU ARE STILL UNABLE TO GET YOUR ACCOUNT SET UP SUCCESSFULLY, CONSIDER SEARCHING THE PLAY STORE FOR YOUR EMAIL PROVIDER'S APPLICATION (Ex: Yahoo Mail, AOL, Microsoft)
