If I search for and insert a new waypoint in the current route, how do I insert it at the end of the current route?

When you enter a new waypoint, it will be an intermediate destination. To have it as your final destination, you need to open the left panel, step to WAYPOINTS, tap Edit, drag the waypoint to the end of the list, and tap Done to recalculate the route.
