How can I activate the eSIM on the razr?

Your razr uses an eSIM (electronic SIM card) instead of a traditional SIM card.

This is already provided and installed in your razr (non-accessible). 
 
To activate, you will need to contact your carrier Customer Service.
 
What you need before you contact your carrier:

  • You will need an alternative mobile phone or landline to call your carrier to activate your razr.

  • Locate your IMEI and ICCID (also referred to as SIM Card ID) on the bottom of your razr box



  • Alternatively, if you’ve already set-up your razr device using Wi-Fi, you can find these in Settings:
    • IMEI (In the device, go to Settings > About phone > IMEI)
    • ICCID (In the device, go to Settings > About phone > SIM status > ICCID)

  • Working Wi-Fi connection and access to your email (either on your computer or other active device)

What happens after I receive my eSIM voucher?

You simply need to scan the QR code to set up the eSIM on your Motorola razr. Here’s how:
  1. Connect to Wi-Fi
  2. Go to Settings > Network & internet > Mobile network > Advanced > Carrier
  3. Select Add carrier
  4. Use your camera to scan the QR code on your eSIM card
  5. The built-in QR code reader on your razr will recognize your unique code
  6. Once recognized, everything you need to use your eSIM will securely download automatically
Can I set up the eSIM on my Motorola razr without scanning a QR code?

Yes, you can manually add the information from the unique QR code we’ve sent you:
  1. Connect to Wi-Fi
  2. Go to Settings > Network & internet > Mobile network > Advanced > Carrier
  3. Select Add carrier
  4. Select Enter code manually
  5. On the Add network provider screen, enter the server address and your unique 32-digit activation code in this format:

    LPA:1$ee.pr.go-esim.com$ABCDEF1234567890ABCDEF1234567890$

    You’ll need to replace the example characters with your own unique code from the eSIM card we sent you.
