Adjusting audio alerts - Motorola One Hyper
Use Volume buttons
In-call audio. When you’re on a call, the Volume buttons control the volume of the other person.
Media. When you’re not on a call, the Volume buttons control media volume during playback or before you listen.
Phone ringtone, notification sounds, and alarms. To adjust these volumes, press a Volume button and then use this shortcut on your home screen:

Touch to toggle the phone ringtone and notification sounds between on
, silent 
, and vibration only 
. -
Slide to adjust media volume.

Touch to mute media volume.

Touch to access all volume controls (call, ring, alarm).
Silence with Power & Volume buttons
To silence a ringing phone, press either the Power button or the Volume down button.
To switch to vibrate at any time, press & hold the Power & Volume up buttons until you feel a vibration and see .
If you want to customize Power & Volume up so that it silences the phone instead of vibrating:

Go to Settings > System > Gestures.

Touch Prevent ringing > Mute.
Tip: Use Do Not Disturb to silence all calls, messages, events, and reminders. Turn it on from quick settings, or schedule it to turn on automatically during certain times or during calendar events.
Pick up to silence
You can simply pick up your phone to silence it and turn vibration on.
To enable this gesture:

Open the Moto app.

Touch
> Moto Actions. -
Touch Pick up to silence and turn it on
.
Change notification sound
To change the sound for all app notifications:

Go to Settings > Sound & lights > Advanced > Default notification sound.

Do one of the following:

To change it, choose a new sound.

To turn notification sounds off, select None.

To change the notification sound for a specific app:

Touch & hold the app icon.

Touch
> Notifications. -
Touch the category for checkmarked notifications, then touch Advanced > Sound and select a unique ringtone, or set it to none.
To adjust the volume level of notifications:

Press a Volume button and on the screen touch
. -
Adjust the Ring volume slider.
